Established in 2007-08, the A&H Caucus is convened and chaired by the Associate Dean. It is comprised of all faculty senators from the college, as well as other college faculty who serve on university committees.
Composed of five faculty members from the five departments in CAH, this committee reads and evaluates proposals submitted by faculty members for academic resources and computers.
Composed of five committee members elected or appointed by their departments, this committee deals with all curriculum proposals that come from departments to the college.
Appointed by the dean (with suggestions from chairs), members of this committee represent their departments and programs as the college attempts to develop valid assessment measures of learning outcomes in courses that offer General Education credit in the Arts and Humanities.
Consisting of five tenured full professors from within the college (if possible, representing the five different departments) and two tenured full professors from outside the college, this committee reads, evaluates, discusses, and votes on tenure and promotion applications in the college.
Convened by the college dean in spring 2010, this ad hoc committee is comprised of five faculty, one from each department in the college.
Each spring, when the college is told how much money is available for junior and senior academic scholarships, this committee determines how those funds will be dispensed.
